‘Change Is The Essence Of Life’

The meaning of knowing today has shifted from being able to recall and repeat information to being able to find it, evaluate it and use it compellingly at the right time and in the right context.

Education in the early part of the twentieth century tended to focus on the acquisition of basic skills and content knowledge, like reading, writing, calculation, history or science. But success in the twenty-first century depends on education that treats higher order skills, like the ability to think, solve complex problems or interact critically through language and media.

Learning does not have to be boring, nor does it have to be entertaining, but it does have to mean something to the learner.

What better way to learn than through the playway method of learning! As children learn through purposeful, quality play experience, they build critical basic skills for cognitive development and academic achievement. These include verbalization, language comprehension, vocabulary, imagination, questioning, problem-solving, observation, empathy, co-operating skills and the perspectives of others.

Children learn through everything they experience during the day.Good learning experiences are the ones that are actively engaging and enable the children to use many of their senses, such as touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste.

We encourage children to actively explore, play, experiment and try out their own abilities thus making the learning more meaningful and effective. So children gear up to enter this new world of playing , exploring ,feeling and thereby learning
