Important Information

 

1. The admission process has been carefully designed to provide equal opportunity to all and to maintain the transparency in the Admission process. Every year, we have more applicants than number of seats available. Therefore, if a candidate is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a reflection of his/her calibre.

2. After filling up the online form along with unique number generated by the computer, click on the submit button and take a print out of the form. Kindly take two coloured print outs of the filled form, one of which needs to be submitted and the other can serve as a record with self.

3. Any form without unique number will be invalid.

4. You are advised to fill in only one online form. In case of any error / corrections while filling the online form, kindly intimate the admission team through an email at admissions@neverskip.com and for any other queries kindly contact us at admissionIX@dpsmathuraroad.org

ADMISSION SCHEDULE FOR CLASS - IX ( 2024-25)

FOR EXTERNAL CANDIDATES

Registration will be done only through Online Form.

 

ELIGIBILITY:

MODE OF SELECTION:

Class 9 admissions will be based on:

• Result of the Admission Test to be held on 18.03.2024 (Monday).
• Overall result of Class VIII.
• Interaction of the shortlisted candidates after verification of documents.

Note: The School Administration reserves the right to offer admission to meritorious applicants only, since there are limited seats.

 

WRITTEN TEST :

Type of Question Paper: Objective MCQ based
Duration of the Test: 2:30 Hours
OMR Filling & Reading Time: 15 Minutes

Class 9 Admission Test will comprise of four parts, which are as follows:

Reporting Time for the Written Test: 7:45 am (Entry from Gate No. 4)

It is compulsory for each applicant to come in their present school uniform and MUST carry the following along with them:

• School Identity Card.
• A printout of the Registration form.
• Aadhar Card along with self-attested photocopy of the Aadhar Card.
• Self-attested Photocopy of the Report Card of Half Yearly Examination (Mid Term) of Class VIII.
• Only blue/black ball pen, pencil, eraser etc.

NOTE: Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited in the examination rooms. School will not make any arrangement for keeping any belonging outside the examination room/school campus.

Parents to drop and pick up the student from the gate at 7:45 am and at 11:00 am respectively.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SELECTED CANDIDATES:

Requisites at the time of interview & for completion of Admission Formalities

• Original mark sheet and one attested photocopy of the marksheet of Class VIII are to be produced at the time of interview.
• (i) Original Character Certificate / Code of Conduct Certificate duly signed by the Principal of the last school attended should be submitted at the time of admission formalities only.
• (ii) Submit self-attested SC/ST/OBC certificate, if any along with the Photocopy of Aadhar Card of the Candidate.
• Original certificates of achievements, sports, co-curricular activities, scholarship examination etc., if any.
• Provisional / Bonafide certificate in original issued by the school.
• Selected candidates should submit the Transfer Certificate in original within 15 days of admission in Class -IX (2024-2025). If the T.C. is not submitted within stipulated time, the admission will stand cancelled automatically and the School in such cases shall give no notice.
• One passport size photograph of the candidate.
• Medical fitness certificate in the prescribed proforma, available on the school website duly filled & stamped by the Doctor (M.B.B.S. / M.D.). Part-I and Part-III will be completed by the family doctor of the candidate. Part-II of the medical form has to be completed by the parent. Part-IV will be completed by the school (DPS, Mathura Road) Doctor. This form must be submitted at the time of admission along with the Immunization vaccination record of the candidate.
  In case the candidate is not given the required vaccination for the diseases mentioned in the proforma earlier, he/she may be registered with the first dose at least before coming for the interview & admission. The same may be mentioned in the proforma duly certified by the Doctor (M.B.B.S. / M.D.) or Registered Immunization Centre and the copy of the same may please be attached.
• For proof of residence: Any one of the following documents is acceptable – Aadhar Card/ Valid Passport / Electoral Card / Recent Paid Electricity Bill / Recent Paid MTNL Telephone Bill / Lease Deed duly registered by registrar.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

• Candidates, who do not possess any one of the above mentioned requisites, would not be entertained for the interaction & admission formalities. Please ensure that you possess all the requisites before coming.
• Selected candidates must accompany the parent to complete the admission formalities and deposit the fee on the scheduled day and time mentioned on the school website. Parent accompanying the candidate should come prepared with the fee and other documents.
