Assessment Pattern for the Session (2021-22) Classes I to V

For classes III to V

The evaluation system lays emphasis on acquisition of essential skills, attitudes and values, interests and achievement in the scholastic areas. The internal assessment is based on classwork, homework, art-integrated activities, Competency Based Assessment (Assignments), subject enrichment activities etc.

The session is divided into two terms, further divided into two - each having an assessment cycle as follows:-

Term I
Periodic Test –I Weightage 40%
Mid Term Exam
Term II
Periodic Test –II Weightage 60%
Annual Term Exam

 

For classes I & II

  • The assessment would be Formative, Continuous and Comprehensive.

  • The Assessment will be based on projects, class discussions, Competency Based Assessments (Assignments), Linguistic and Mathematical skills, Application of knowledge, Subject Enrichment and Art integrated activities etc.

Besides scholastic, the evaluation system lays emphasis on acquisition of essential skills, attitudes and values, interests and achievement in the co-curricular activities. The assessment is also done on classwork, homework, projects, group discussion, assignments and other subject enrichment activities done in the online classes.

The session is divided into two terms, further divided into two- each having an assessment cycle as follows:

Term I
Periodic Test –I : 13th July- 10th Aug’20 Weightage 40%
Mid Term Exam : 15th Sept- 24th Sept’ 20
Term II
Periodic Test –II : 2th Nov- 7th Dec’ 20 Weightage 60%
Annual Term Exam : 27th Feb- 8th March’21

 

Internal Assessments: will be based on projects, class discussions, assignments and other subject enrichment activities done in the online class.

NOTE:

1. For classes I & II: There will be no formal assessment.

for Classes I to V

Mid Term Exam 9th Sept- 17th Sept’19
Term II
Periodic Test –II 27th Nov- 23rd Dec’19 Weightage 60%
Annual Term Exam 28th Feb- 9th March’20
